St. Lucy's Priory in Glendora, CA held their canonical election February 26-28, 2016. Sister Elizabeth Brown was re-elected as prioress. Sister Lynn Marie McKenzie, Federation President, presided at the election with Sister Joan Marie Sasse as Secretary and SisterS Patricia Schneider and Mary Daniel McGinn as Tellers.

Four American Benedictines attended the Communio Internationalis  Benedictinarum (CIB) meeting in France September 8-23, 2015--Patricia Crowley (Pres of Conf of Ben Prioresses and thereby one of the 2 delegates from our region – from Chicago), Judith Ann Heble (Moderator of CIB – from Lisle), Sister Lynn Marie McKenzie (President of the Federation of St. Scholastica and the other delegate from Region 9), and Mary Jane Vergotz (Exec Secretary of CIB – from Erie).  The schedule of meetings is available by the following this link to the CIB website.
